Johannesburg – Tickets for next month’s Davis Cup by BNP Paribas World Group playoff between South Africa and India will go on sale on Monday. The tie will be played at the revamped Indoor Arena at Ellis Park in Johannesburg from September 18-20.
This crucial clash will be played on Friday (12pm – two opening singles matches), Saturday (13h00 – one doubles match) and Sunday (12pm – two reverse singles matches). On Friday and Sunday respectively, a single ticket will cost R75 for the opening singles and reverse singles clashes; Saturday’s solitary doubles match ticket is R65.
The tie is the second major international tennis tournament to be presented by the city of Johannesburg. SATA CEO Ian Smith said he was delighted by the support his Association is receiving from the sponsors describing it as a good partnership.
