 Resident Coach - Clive Watkinson |
Clive Watkinson is a qualified full-time professional coach. He is the on-site coach at St Davids School in Inanda and also coaches at various different venues. Clive is the Gauteng Central Tennis Associations regular squad Coach and is assisted by other local coaches who are invited to participate in our coaching programme on Saturday mornings. Clive is still an avid player and represents his province in Veterans tennis and was recently selected to represent South Africa at the ITF Senior World Team Championships in San Diego.

 Greer Leo-Stevens |
Greer Stevens former WTA top 10 player, Grand Slam champion and ex - SA Fed Cup Captain. In 1980 she reached a career high singles ranking of World No. 7 and the Wimbledon quarterfinals in both singles and doubles. Greer’s best doubles ranking was an incredible 3. She also played for the Boston Lobsters of World TeamTennis. Greer retired at the end of 1980, having had her career best year. Marius Masencamp is the resident tennis coach at St Stithian’s College. Their A team plays in the Southern Gauteng Premier League.

Gaynor Harris is the owner of Tennis Incorporated. She is a Professional registered coach with 16 years experience. Gaynor is an ex professional player – having played in Junior Wimbledon, French and US Open and was a Junior Springbok.

 Neville Godwin |
Neville Godwin is a former professional tennis player. He turned professional in 1994. The right-hander won one singles title (2001 Newport) in his career, and reached his highest individual ranking on the ATP Tour on March 31, 1997, when he became World number 90. His highest world ranking for doubles was 57. At the 1996 Wimbledon tournament Neville had his best finish at a Grand Slam, when he reached the fourth round as a qualifier. He retired from his professional career in 2003.
