Johannesburg, South Africa – South African Tennis Association (SATA) announces school Monday to Friday days at the SA Tennis Open, to boost tennis awareness amongst the youth. In a bonus for school going tennis fans, SATA announced Wednesday that they would be offering a special deal to scholars for the first 5 days of the South African Tennis Open to be played in February next year.
The 2010 SA Tennis Open, which forms part of the ATP World Tour, will be played at Montecasino from 31 January – 6 February and offers prize money of over R3.5 million.
On Monday, 31 January and Tuesday 1 February, the first 15 schools to apply, will receive 20 free tickets which will enable them to watch tennis in the afternoon and evening matches.
