Saturday morning saw Gauteng Central playing a friendly match against local rivals Gauteng East. The under 12 and 14 teams played in Benoni whilst the older groups played at Ellis Park. Results are:

• under 18 : Gauteng Central won 14 – 9
• under 16 : Gauteng Central won 20 – 6
• under 14 : Gauteng East won 10 – 6
• under 12 : Gauteng Central won 15 – 1
