For the first time in the nine years, Paul Roos was not able to defend their title and found worthy adversary St Stithians College.
After three days of competition St Stithians was crowned the winner of the tournament after beating Grey College of Bloemfontein 6–3 in the final.
Third place went to the host school, Paul Roos Gimnasium, beating Pretoria Boys 6–3.
The St Stithians team, lead by their captain Mitchell Fieldgate, can feel immensely proud of their achievement and can probably consider themselves the best schools tennis team in the country for 2014 following this result.
