Thirty-five schools competed at Sun City for the annual Private Schools Tennis Tournament comprising a total of 53 teams. The primary schools played in August a week earlier than the high schools.
In the boys primary schools section The Ridge defended their U13 A title by beating St Peter’s in the final, with Reddam House winning the B section. In the girls tournament, Holy Rosary won for the first time.
St David’s Marist Inanda recaptured the high schools boys A section by convincingly beating Michaelhouse, St Alban’s, St Dunstan’s, St John’s, Merrifield and King Edward schools. In the B section KES ousted De La Salle A to take the title.
In the high schools girls section St Andrew’s won the coveted prize for the 5th consecutive year. Brescia House won the B section.
