Marks Park is our regional Top Guns winner!

Marks Park will once again represent Gauteng Central at the national Growthpoint Top Guns. Congratulations to Marks Park A team consisting of Patrick Wysoczarski, Hayley Jeffery, Kim Rudman Peters and Bradwin Williams who walked away with the honours after a rain delayed hard fought contest over the weekend at Ellis Park.

It’s been an exciting two months of Growthpoint Top Guns club tennis action and now that the 14 regional finals have been completed we are delighted to confirm the 14 national finalists – as follows:
Buffalo City: Old Boys Tennis Club
Cape Town (Western Province): Camps Bay
Eden: George Tennis Club
EP: Cradock Tennis Club
Free State: Kovsies (University of the Free State)
Gauteng Central: Marks Park Tennis Club
Gauteng East: Parkrand Tennis Club
Gauteng North: Elarduspark Tennis Club
KZN: Brighton Tennis Club
Limpopo: Aces – Polokwane
Mpumalanga: Nelspruit Tennis Club
North West: Klerksdorp Tennis Club
Northern Cape: Park Tennis Club
Winelands: Kuilsrivier Tennis Club

The national finals will be played early in 2019 and will see the 14 regional winners – and two TSA wildcards (specifically two clubs from historically under-serviced communities) play off at a central venue to decide the best tennis club in South Africa.
The prize money on offer at the national finals:
National Club winner: R30 000 for the winning club and R30 000 in total for the players in the winning team.
National Club runner-up: R10 000 to the runner-up club and R10 000 in total for the players in the runner-up team.
