Tshwane, South Africa – Srixon Sports South Africa, the new distributors of Dunlop Sport in South Africa have successfully renewed the Dunlop sponsorship deal with Tennis South Africa (TSA).
Dunlop, one of the world’s biggest and best tennis ball brands, will continue as the official ball supplier to TSA, for specific events and programmes, effective from January 2020, until the end of 2021.
For the past two years Dunlop has held a similar position with TSA and following a recent competitive tender process, in which all International Tennis Federation (ITF) approved balls were invited to tender, TSA awarded the new two year contract to Dunlop.
The partnership will see Dunlop balls used as the official ball and partner for TSA for;
• Selected TSA tournaments: Covering TSA Growthpoint Super 8, Junior Nationals and Masters events, Seniors events, BNP Paribas RCS Rising Star Tennis (National Primary Schools Championship) and Growthpoint Top Guns (club) events.
• Specific international tournaments: four international tournaments hosted in South Africa.
• TSA Junior High-Performance programme: for TSA junior national training camps.
• TSA Transformation and development plan: the four Growthpoint Centres of Development Excellence in Atteridgeville, Durban, Cape Town and Soweto, respectively.
Dunlop are the official ball suppliers to the ATP World Tour, the year-end ATP Finals and ATP Next Gen Finals, The ATP World Cup, Davis Cup and the Australian Open. The Dunlop ball is also the official ball of the inaugural ATP Cup presently being played in Australia.
