Updated level 2 regulations

Following our State President’s announcement on the easing of restrictions and the move to alert level 2 of the national risk adjusted strategy from Tuesday, 18 August, several restrictions will be eased:

PERMITTED UNDER ALERT LEVEL 2:

8 players allowed per court – for coaching purposes
Tennis Clubhouses allowed to re-open
Use of floodlights permitted until 21h00
Club bar / shop / canteen allowed to re-open
Tennis gatherings allowed but limited to a max. of 50 people
While the move to Level 2 allows for the easing of certain regulations, a number of restrictions will remain in place to protect members of our tennis community:

HYGIENE MEASURES TO REMAIN IN PLACE:

Always maintain 1.5m distancing
Wash or sanitize your hands before and after lessons
Sneeze in your elbow
Wear a mask
All general safety measures to still be followed
RESTRICTIONS THAT WILL REMAIN IN PLACE:

No shaking of hands and no “high fives”
No sharing of benches or chairs
Change ends in a clockwise direction
No spectators at tennis tournaments
